What's the true cost of your breakfast?

You might not realise it, but your favourite fry up or bowl of porridge and honey has an impact on the environment, as well as your health. 

Greenhouse gases are produced at every step of food production – from methane belched out by cows to the exhaust fumes from lorries and planes that ship your food from fields to factories, from factories to supermarket shelves, and from the shops to your kitchen table. Huge amounts of water are also used to grow food for livestock.
